Located within the New Taipei Port Special District in Bali, New Taipei City, this competition proposal envisions a contemporary Drone Training Centre that integrates education, professional training, and administrative functions into a purpose-built campus. Responding to the rapid growth of Taiwan's unmanned aerial systems (UAS) industry, the project establishes a comprehensive one-stop environment for learning, practical training, accommodation, and collaboration.

Integrated Programme: The facility includes administrative offices, 25 trainee accommodation rooms, drone classrooms, equipment storage, and specialised training facilities, creating an efficient and well-integrated learning environment.

The Multi-Purpose Core: At the heart of the development is a flexible multi-purpose indoor training hall designed to accommodate drone flight operations, simulation exercises, and technical training, while also serving as a venue for basketball, badminton, and other recreational activities, maximising spatial efficiency and year-round functionality.

Landscape & Circulation Network: The landscape strategy integrates outdoor training zones, public plazas, and green open spaces into a cohesive circulation network, fostering interaction while enhancing safety, functionality, and user experience.

Guided by principles of flexibility, innovation, and sustainability, the proposal presents a forward-looking vision for a professional training campus. The final design is the culmination of over six months of intensive on-site engagement and close collaborative workshops with the clients to define and refine the project's strategic direction. Although the proposal was not ultimately selected, this dedicated collaborative process remains a powerful expression of JYA's vision for future educational architecture, technological innovation, and sustainable design, reflecting the practice's continued commitment to deeply researched, client-focused architectural solutions.
