事務所由主持建築師葉明翰創立。自26歲取得中華民國建築師資格以來，已累積逾十五年的建築設計與大型專案實務經驗。

​

在創立事務所之前，葉建築師曾任職於台灣最具規模的建築事務所之一，歷經建築設計師、專案設計師、專案經理等職務，最終晉升為細部設計部門主管，負責大型建築專案之設計整合、技術協調、施工圖管理及跨專業團隊合作。

​

在此期間，他參與多項大型住宅、國際級飯店、商業開發及大型複合式建築專案，並在曾主導台北多座地標級超高層建築的資深設計主管帶領下，深入參與國際級建築專案的完整設計流程，累積大型建築設計、專案管理及技術整合的深厚經驗。這段歷練奠定了其兼具設計創意、工程技術與整體規劃能力的專業基礎，也形塑了事務所今日對設計品質、施工細節及建築完整性的高度要求。

At JYA Architects & Partners, we believe architecture is far more than the creation of buildings. It is a thoughtful response to place, people and the future—shaping the way we live while enriching the relationship between the built environment and its wider context. Through considered design, technical excellence and close collaboration, we create architecture that balances beauty, functionality and long-term sustainability.

The practice is led by Principal Architect John Yeh, who has more than fifteen years of professional experience since qualifying as a registered architect at the age of twenty-six.

​

Before founding JYA Architects & Partners, John spent many years with one of Taiwan's leading architectural practices, progressing through the roles of Architectural Designer, Project Designer and Project Manager before being appointed Head of Detailed Design. In this leadership role, he oversaw design coordination, technical development, construction documentation and multidisciplinary collaboration across large-scale architectural projects.

During this period, he contributed to a diverse portfolio of high-end residential developments, international hotels, commercial buildings and mixed-use projects. Working under the former Head of Design, who led the delivery of several landmark skyscrapers in Taipei, John gained extensive experience in every stage of complex architectural projects—from concept development and technical coordination to construction implementation. This foundation continues to shape the practice's commitment to design quality, technical precision and build ability.

Today, JYA Architects & Partners provides integrated services across architecture, interior architecture, urban regeneration, landscape planning and development consultancy. Every project begins with a careful understanding of its site, context and the aspirations of its client. Through thoughtful design, rigorous project management and meticulous technical coordination, we deliver architecture that is timeless, purposeful and enduring.
